Following the East Asian tradition of expert copycat skills, here’s a Korean clone of Twitter and Jaiku called Me2day (www.me2day.net). It’s still in beta development, so a normal user can’t logon.

As you can see on my sidebar, I recently started my own Twitter account.
Twitter (www.twitter.com) is a new popular web 2.0 activity where users are limited to writing brief 1-line entries. High school English teachers should be pleased because Twittering is helping America’s teenagers write concisely.
I thought Twitter was pretty trivial and immature at first inspection, seeing all the people who tell the world what they’re doing at the moment, such as “Woke up” or “Eating dinner.” But, just like the saturated blogosphere, there is a lot of crap to shovel through to find the hidden pearls.
