Undergraduate Research Fair: Flash Learning Modules

Tonight at 6PM at Penn State Hazleton, we will be presenting our “Dynamically Programming Math Learning Modules & Quizzes For Online Interactivity” project. Another student and I (under Professor Alfredo Jimenez) created an application that helps students learn about venn diagrams and sets using Macromedia Flash. Most importantly, we integrated it with a database so that the instructor can keep track of student progress. And by bringing it online on its own domain, students can access it from anywhere.

You can view our powerpoint presentation or view a demo of the program. (Note: I have not finished exporting the application from our local testing server to finite-math.com, so the demo is not fully functional.)

Got Thoughts?

By all means share them, and start the conversation.
