Pepperjam Internship Update: Week 4

Wow, a month has already passed since the beginning of my Pepperjam internship. After working somewhere for about 2 weeks, and you settle into a set daily routine, the work can become very monotonous… And at Pepperjam, working now exclusively in the SEO division, that is absolutely not the case! Ha, I tricked you for a second.

You already know that Pepperjam ranks as one of the top SEO firms in the nation, which also makes it one of the top SEO agencies in the whole world. Since the US has the best search engines (or is that singluar? Google), naturally the best search engine optimization companies are all within the United States. Who cares if the Koreans SEO’s might be smarter? What the hell are they going to do if they have don’t have quality search engines to work with and relatively puny competition in the organic results?

More importantly, I don’t see why Pepperjam doesn’t already have the reputation of the best SEO firm. Are you disrespecting the newcomer? People usually like to do that. But watch out SEOmoz and Bruce Clay, because you got a shit storm headin’ towards ya. And if you are a business who is in dire need of some SEO, which encompasses about 99% of the websites out there, do yourself a favor and hire a professional, hard-working company like Pepperjam who will promise you results.

With a continuously expanding sales force at Pepperjam, they (we?) are going to rack up the number of SEO clients. And it’s not like the clients have power over whether they decide to hire Pepperjam for their SEO work or not. Because the waiting list is so damn long and everyone is demanding the SEO + PPC Quality Score Optimization package, Pepperjam gets to decide who gets into the Circle of Google Success.

The first month has been great interning in the SEO department at Pepperjam. The next 2 months are going to fly!

P.S. Here’s a shoutout (and some humble link juice) to Pepperjam’s senior graphic designer Leslie Stewart (check her Meet The Pepperjam Team video). She does absolutely amazing work for the SEO division. And if you’re ever looking to hire someone to design a logo or website template, Leslie is the one to call. Check out Leslie Stewart’s portfolio at www.aBadPanda.com.
