Apparently, it’s possible to rank for a foreign word: 검색엔진최적화, which is Korean for SEO or “search engine optimization.” This is an English blog, I’m Korean, the server is hosted in California and I’m targeting the Korean WORD for SEO 검색엔진최적화.
Probably, one or two 한국 단어 like 구글댄스 or 상위등록 will do the trick. If this doesn’t work for me, then Dave Naylor obtained a shitload of backlinks for his 폴란드 안지엘스키 블로그 포스트. Or it could be that Dave is a black hat search engine spammer who knows a lot more SEO than I do. Yeah, that’s probably the case…
