I’m back at Penn State University, this time at the University Park campus. I am living on-campus in a townhouse at White Course, surrounded by families with young children and graduate students. It seems that I am the only undergraduate student living here, which is kind of awkward when all of my neighbors ask me what area of study I’m doing my doctorate for.
Classes started yesterday. I am more amazed by the massive number of students that flood the streets between classes than the better quality of professors at the University Park campus. A friend said that there are over 40,000 students at this Penn State campus alone. I would be stupid not to take advantage of this large student population to make some money. My goal this year besides maintaining a cutting edge GPA is to create a net income of $3,000 per month.
I am in a difficult situation right now where my school work is interfering with my money-making online projects and vice versa. I can’t give up either because both are crucial to my future, so I need to find a balance.
The course load at the main campus is not as difficult to manage as I had expected, so I should have time on the side to bust open a stream of revenue.
