My Google Online Marketing Challenge teammates Caroline, Matt and Joe got me this wacom tablet for my recent birthday. Their gift just came in the mail so I’ve been playing around with it for the past half hour.
I’ve never owned a tablet before. I’ve wanted one really bad since junior high but never could justify buying one after that because I stopped drawing as a hobby. I’m not so great at drawing anymore, but I love the handwriting recognition feature of the tablet. I can write directly into a text document. Although I realized that my handwriting really sucks since that flaw is especially more obvious when rendered onto a computer monitor. While I’m improving my handwriting style, I’ll be able to take notes on PDF documents and make cool sketches for various projects.
