About

IT Milk is a personal blog by Daehee Park. It covers a wide range of topics from information technology, internet marketing, entrepreneurship, to college life at Penn State University.

I started this blog during my freshman year in college as a newly enrolled Information Sciences and Technology major. I registered the domain name itmilk.com because it was one of the few decent available domains with the word “IT” in it. Also, I chose “IT Milk” because I figured I would update the blog everyday and it would be like your daily glass of milk, haha… kind of lame, I know.

Since then, I have changed my major to the brand-new Security & Risk Analysis major, and I am now deeply involved with entrepreneurship and marketing. College is now somewhat of a backup plan, in case my ventures don’t work out, but that doesn’t make sense either because I would just try to start a new business. But I am not neglecting my grades and you can take a look at my online resume.

Aside from being a student and entrepreneur, I am also a husband and father. I got started with a family really early in life. As of now, I am 19 years old, I’ve been married for 2 years and I have a 18-month old daughter. It’s freaking crazy trying to do all these things at once, but I don’t know what I would do without my family!

In February 2008, I got together with 2 talented web developers and we started a social media company called Meezik. We develop social applications on platforms like Facebook and MySpace, and we also license out our own social networking software. I am in charge of marketing and sales, and we are striving to build a brand name to build solutions to big-time clients like celebrities, music artists, and corporations.

I am also a co-founder and chief editor of IST Building, an independent publication for the College of IST at Penn State University.
