We get so involved because we enjoy the projects and honestly, want to do them. Every time a new project arises, I ask myself, "Do I have time for that?". The answer is always, "Yes, I do." and never "No." although the latter is usually the true statement. For me the limit is when I don't have enough personal time alone EACH day. If you don't have enough time to read a book, play video games, go for a leisurely walk, jam on your guitar, or whatever you do to relax by yourself, you're going to lose sanity at some point. I heard it takes a good two weeks of doing nothing to truly relax after a stressful time period. I have the same problem and wonder all the time whether its worth it.
